My Week via {Instagram} - Week ONE

I think I speak for all Android users when I say I'm SO excited that Instagram is finally available for us! No more lusting after Iphone pics
(until they come up with another unbeatable app that the droid doesn't have!)

Saturday: Noah and I took advantage of the sunny day - we built some raised garden beds with Grandpa, played on the swings at his cousin Ava's 2nd birthday party, and rode quads (Oh to be a 15 year old!). I received our amazing photos from Tonya Poitevint in the mail (cutest packaging ever right?!) And celebrated a friend's birthday with a girls night (and braved the RED LIPS look....which I am almost always too chicken to try!)

Sunday: We spent Sunday morning with some story time, broke out the sunglasses and shopped to our little hearts content. I couldn't resist the slouchy beanie and other adorable accessories that I picked up for Noah at a local Boutique my favorite Bug-A-Bootique (beanie seen in Monday Photos!), braved Costco (but the samples were out, so Noah was a happy camper). Last, I decided it would be an amazing idea to spring clean at 11pm - my "cloffice" (closet/ office ha) looks great, but it sure made for a late night!

Monday: Work was long -  a typical "Case of the Mondays" for this girl right here - but Noah was too cute when I picked him up from Daycare - I had to snap a few photos of him, and my day instantly took a turn for the better!

Tuesday:  Another rainy day in Oregon - Noah looked out the window wanting to play so bad! I was able to get some thrifting done on my lunch break - and came home with a  lot of fun fabric and buttons and the cute little metal sign complete with wisdom "It's easy to be pleasant when life goes by with a son, but the man worth while is the man who can smile with everything he does goes wrong." (who throws this stuff away?!?!)  Kendel and I spent the late night hours busting out some new designs (Im' partial to the new striped bows, and the lace flowers - COMING SOON) - our inspiration always seems to come after a glass or 2 of wine!

Wednesday: Noah was off to Grandma and Grandpa's for the day (fun fact: that suitcase was mine when I was just a little one!), I found inspiration on a co-workers desk (I think too often times we forget to fill our lives with laughter, friendship and love, and get caught up in the negative things) designed some more fun fabric bows for the shoppe with Kendel, and did a little baking for a local bake sale to support the March of Dimes.

Thursday: Sick day! My allergies have been horrendous and I was feeling a tad under the weather so I stayed home from work. What better day to take goofy pictures with your little one, do some blogging, play entirely too much "draw something" document some new sweet kicks, and celebrate having a sweet husband who brought home frozen yogurt for his sick wife.

Friday: The sun is shining! It's starting to FINALLY look like spring here in Southern Oregon! The tulips in our yard are blooming, and I couldn't be more excited to get the garden going (our first year attempt to grow a garden). I caught a pretty sweet moment with the hubs and Noah, took advantage of the sunshine on the way to game night to catch a pic of me and my little dude. We played a new game with some friends (Alhambra - very fun strategy game!), whipped up some treats, and called it a night. {Noah will not be on Toddlers and Tiaras anytime soon, I can promise you that much} but I did enter him in a GAP kids casting call - he was too cute not too! Wish us luck!

  1. I just downloaded the Instagram app. myself for Droid and I'm lovin' it! I have a question, how did you get all the pics in a collage like that? Does the app. provide storyboards or did you get this somewhere else?

  2. Hey Elena!
I actually used picmonkey.com to put my pictures into each collage for the day. - I'm sure (or I hope) it's a matter of time before instagram does something like that! Thanks for stopping by
