Scholastic Chic

I love a good pair of eyeglasses. The right glasses can transform an argyle sweater into "scholastic chic", instantly add style to any man's outfit, and have been aiding in the "sexy & smart" trend for countless years.

I wear glasses...sometimes. I have good vision, but at a job that has me on the computer for 8 hours a day, blogging, arts and crafting, and hours of reading - my eyes get tired. But I have had the same reading glasses for years...and I never venture outside of my little black frame beauties...but I'm ready for a change.

The optometrist can be expensive - and most of the time the selections are sparse! I can never find the glasses frames that I like, and the price tag also shocks.

But fear no more - GlassesUSA.com is here!

This site is wonderful - offering glasses in all styles, from prescription eyeglasses, reading glasses, and sunglasses -  from reputable brands like Spy, Coach, Guess, Tom Ford, and Lucky.

I was apprehensive of buying glasses before trying them on - but that is where the site's virtual fitting room comes in. Simply upload your picture, and spend hours picking from hundreds of styles - and they are affordable too - most pairs are less than $100 (with lenses and shipping!)

Here are some of the good, bad, and the ugly of what I tried on - I still tried on plenty of black framed glasses, but also went outside of my comfort zone - which ones do you think look best?!?!
Be sure to try on your own glasses - it's a lot of fun, and the styles that look good on you may surprise you!
Try it out for yourself - see below =)
